The young Egyptian artist Mahmoud Amr Mahmoud Yassin revealed the last photo taken of the late artist Hassan Hosni, who died at dawn today, Saturday, at the age of 89.

The young artist published the picture that he collected with the late artist on his Instagram page, in which Hassan Hosni appeared with a smile.


Two members of the Representative Professions Syndicate said that the great artist was attacked by a sudden heart attack Friday evening, after which he entered a private hospital in 6th of October City, and the doctors ’attempts to save him failed to save his last breath at dawn today, Saturday.

The artist, Nihal Anbar, a member of the union, told Al-Arabiya.net that the body of the late artist will be discharged from the hospital at ten in the morning and will be buried after praying at him in the family graves on the Fayoum road.

It is mentioned that the late artist was born in the Citadel district of the capital, Cairo, on October 15 of 1931 and enrolled in the Radwaniyah Primary School, where his artistic inclinations appeared early and participated in presenting several plays on the school theater.

At the beginning of the sixties he became a member of the military theater troupe, which was affiliated with the army, and after the June 1967 war, he moved to Al-Hakim Theater and presented several plays, including the Urabi play and the play “The Boat that Wished”. The two plays made a good resonance with the audience, then participated in the plays of Rubapikia and Sahib Architecture.

In the eighties, he returned to the theater again, when he presented with the actress Suheir Al-Babyloni and his old friend the artist Hassan Abdeen, "The Ruse" play, and in 1985 he also performed the comic play "Reason, Crazy!" The late comedian Mohamed Negm.


Hassan Hosni’s cinematic breakthrough was through the Karnak film and then the movie “Bus drivers” and then participated in a number of films, including the innocent, the basement, and escape, as he worked with a number of directors, including Muhammad Khan, in the film The Wife of an Important Man, and Radwan Al-Kashef in the movie He stole joy, and also participated in the films of Mr. Kave, and Nasser 56.

A successful youth movie partner
At the end of the nineties and the beginning of the new millennium, the late artist was the common denominator in all the films of a group of young artists, namely Mohamed Heneidy, Ahmed Helmy, Mohamed Saad and Karim Abdel Aziz.

A large number of artists mourned on their pages through the communication sites of the late artist, most notably Muhammad Huneidi, Karim Abdel Aziz, Mahmoud Yassin, Ilham Shaheen and Salah Abdullah.
