"The Rock" announces that he and his family have been infected with Corona ... "I wish I got sick alone"

The American actor Dwayne Johnson, famous for "The Rock", revealed that his entire family had tested positive for Corona virus.

The 48-year-old actor announced the news, Wednesday, saying that his wife Lauren Hashian (35 years), and their two daughters, Tiana (two years), and Jasmine (four years), had tested positive for "Covid-19", but they were in the final stage of infection. This means that the disease is "no longer contagious."

In a video clip he posted on his "Instagram" account, he said, "His being infected with the disease is one of the most challenging and difficult things" that he faced with his family ever.

He added, "My first priority is always to protect my family and loved ones. I wish only I had tested positive."


He pointed out that he and his family are currently receiving treatment to recover, explaining that he did not show any symptoms of the disease, while his two daughters showed symptoms of a sore throat for a few days, but in general, they did not show any symptoms after that.

This famous actor revealed that he and his family had contracted "Covid-19" due to meeting some close friends who were carriers of the infection.

Johnson urged people to remain vigilant, by adhering to precautionary measures such as wearing medical face masks and maintaining social distancing.
