Tiger Woods and former quarterback Peyton Manning won "The Match" against Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady, a charity game to fight the coronavirus.

Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, 20 Grand Slam tournaments together, associated with Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, eight Super Bowl, for a charity match dedicated to the fight against the coronavirus. "The Match" was held on Sunday at the Medalist Golf Club (Florida) and resulted in Woods / Manning's victory over the smallest of margins (1UP).

Delayed an hour because of the rain, the match quickly turned in favor of Woods and Manning, less rusty than their friends. A small revenge for Tiger, beaten by Mickelson two years ago during a 9 million dollar exhibition.

"We fought well," said Mickelson after the game. I was a little nervous, a little short on the first nine holes. My colleague kept us in the know and shone on the return. Far from being mere sparring partners, the two American football players signed some superb shots, including this wedge shot by Tom Brady.

20 millions de dollars ont été levés pour ce match et seront reversés à des oeuvres de charité luttant contre le Covid-19.
